Our community citizens need to be made aware of potential risks associated with blue-green algal blooms. 1) Educate yourself with accurate information 2) Pay attention to waterways that look unsafe to be swimming in or even unsafe to be near 3) Inform local and state agencies when you see persistent degraded water conditions - demand sampling for toxins. 4) Make smart decisions for yourself and your family. Here is what is going on in Florida.
